The Dave Schiavone Quartet

The Dave Schiavone Quartet
Pianist Joe Brancato, Dave, Drummer Peggy Scalzo, & Bassist Buddy Fadale

The Dave Schiavone Quartet is an outgrowth of the 1997 collaboration between longtime musical partners Dave Schiavone and Joe Brancato. This original group (known as "The Dave Schiavone/Joe Brancato Quartet") was formed as an answer to 'background' jazz; Dave wanted to really perform this music for a listening audience - upfront, in the moment, with amazing originals and hot retakes on standards!

With drummer Peggy Scalzo and bassist Buddy Fadale, the group earned a large and loyal following. Their debut disc, "Hidden Treasures", was a near sell-out in the local area and garnered extensive jazz radio airplay in markets such as Toronto, Buffalo, Santa Monica, and across New York State. Currently, the Dave Schiavone Quartet is keeping busy with live performances and is looking forward to their next recording.

Please check Dave's schedule page for DSQ performance dates.
